Get certified. Get exclusive job requests.

Restoration.com.co Certified Operations verifies restoration companies and connects homeowners with one certified company at a time.

Applications and job requests are open in these states: NC.

What the program is

Certification is a set of checks we can verify and an applicant can fail. Job requests and the badge start only after the license and insurance checks pass.

A certified company gets a public profile, a certificate ID, a badge with a QR code to a live verify page, reviews from real jobs, and exclusive homeowner job requests in its ZIP codes.

We verify credentials and collect reviews from real jobs. We do not guarantee any company's workmanship. Certification may not be advertised as a workmanship guarantee.

Fees

Certified companies pay a fee when they accept a job request.

Annual verification fee
$495
Water mitigation request
$350
Fire mitigation request
$500
Storm mitigation request
$300
Mold mitigation request
$250
Rebuild request
$500

These are the fees in effect right now. Fees may change for future offers only. The fee shown on an offer before you accept is the fee you pay for that offer.

How offers, accepting and charges work

  1. Offer. When a homeowner in your ZIP code agrees to your company by name, your dispatch contacts get a text and an email with the loss type, city, ZIP code and time. No homeowner identity.
  2. Accept. Reply YES or accept in the company portal within the accept window: 10 minutes for water, fire and storm, 60 minutes for mold and rebuild.
  3. Charge. The fee is charged to your card on file when you accept. If the card is declined, the accept is void, the request moves to the next company, and no homeowner details are released.
  4. Handoff. After the charge you receive the homeowner's name, phone, address, loss details and photos. The homeowner receives your company name, phone and profile link. You set the first appointment as part of accepting.
  5. Miss. A declined or expired offer moves to the next company. Three expired offers in 7 days pauses your company and alerts our staff. A request is offered to at most 3 companies.

Eligibility for an offer: certified status, a matching trade, the ZIP code in your service area, not paused, under your daily cap (default 5 per day), a valid payment method and no past-due invoice.

You may contact a homeowner only about the job they requested, and you must honor a do-not-contact flag at once.

Rebuilds and the license threshold

The rebuild stays with the mitigation company unless a release is recorded: you say you are not doing it, the homeowner chooses another contractor, or the rebuild estimate is at or above the state general contractor threshold and you have no verified general contractor license on file. Only then is a rebuild request offered to another certified company. No reward or free lead is given for passing on a rebuild.

House territory

In ZIP codes that the operator of this site designates as its own territory, a company owned by the operator is offered requests first, at no fee, under the same accept window. If it declines or misses, the request rotates to other certified companies as normal. That company is certified under the same criteria, and its profile and search results carry the label “Owned by the operator of this site”.

Renewal, suspension, expiry and revocation

  • Renewal. Every year on the certification anniversary: the fee is charged, criteria C1, C6 and C8 are reconfirmed, and every expiring document must be current.
  • Expiry. Certification expires automatically the day a required license, insurance or IICRC document (C2 to C5) lapses. Reminders go out 30, 14, 3 and 0 days before. Uploading a current document restores certification after it is verified.
  • Suspension. An invoice unpaid for more than 15 days suspends certification automatically; paying it restores it. We may also suspend during an open complaint investigation, or after a review of a verified-review average below 3.5 across 5 or more reviews. A low average opens a review; it never suspends on its own.
  • Revocation. Only after the complaint process in the published standard. A revoked company cannot be certified again for 12 months.
  • While not certified. Job requests stop at once. Your profile stays up and shows the current status, and so does the verify page and the hosted badge.

Reviews

Only homeowners with a real job through this site can leave a review, one per job. Reviews publish after a 48-hour screening hold and are never removed for being negative. You may post one public reply per review. You may not offer anything for a review.

Questions and answers

What is Certified Operations?

Restoration.com.co Certified Operations is a certification program and homeowner directory for restoration companies. We verify eight criteria, issue a certificate ID and a badge that resolves to a live verify page, and offer certified companies exclusive homeowner job requests in the ZIP codes they serve.

What does it cost?

The annual verification fee is $495. It is charged when you submit your application and at each anniversary, and it is refunded in full if the application is denied. Paying the fee never bypasses a check. Lead fees are charged only when you accept a job request.

Are job requests shared with other companies?

No. Every job request is exclusive: one homeowner, one named company, one fee. A request is offered to one company at a time. If that company declines or the accept window passes, it moves to the next company.

What do I see before I accept?

The loss type, city, ZIP code and time. The homeowner's name, phone and address are released only when you accept and the fee is charged.

Is there a second fee if I also do the rebuild?

No. One fee covers the whole job. A rebuild that stays with the mitigation company creates no charge. A rebuild request exists only when the job is released, and then the new company pays the rebuild fee.

Can I dispute a lead fee?

Yes, within 72 hours of accepting, for one of five reasons, each with evidence: the homeowner was unreachable after 3 attempts across 24 hours; it was not a restoration loss; the address is outside your declared ZIP codes; it duplicates a lead you paid for in the last 30 days; or the person is not the owner and has no authority to hire. A granted dispute becomes an account credit applied to your next lead fee.

Can I pay for better placement?

No. Directory results and job offers follow rotation order for the ZIP code. Placement is never paid.
